By Joe Kennefick        Tuesday 2nd September 2008 Ballygarvan 4-12          Glen Rovers 1-04 Ballygarvan Under 16 Camogie Team easily defeated a robust Glen Rovers team in the Glen Field Tonight. Ballygarvan, aided by the breeze were rocked when a scramble in the goalmouth led to a scrappy goal for the Glen in the 9th minute. Ballygarvan upped their performance straight away and 4 points from Aishling Byrne from placed balls between the 13th and 20th minute left them a point ahead.Glen Rovers had a point from a free in the 22nd minute before 2 goals from Rachel Keohane in the 28th and 33rd minute, the second a rocket from 30 yards, and a beauty of a point from the wing by Aishling Byrne left Ballygarvan 2-05 to 1-01 ahead at the break. At this stage Rebecca Murphy had left the field with a knee injury and Sarah Quilligan was lucky to be able to continue after a rash pull across her hand.
