Ballygarvan 5-10 v Douglas 2-2 Douglas put the Ballygarvan girls under a lot of pressure in the first quarter of their third outing in the Junior Shield competition. However, once they had put a few scores on the board, the Ballygarvan forwards began to take full advantage of the considerable amount of possession they were being fed. Suzanne Lynch, Aisling Byrne and Bernadette Keohane were particularly accurate throughout the game.
