Ballygarvan 1-01 Douglas 4-12

Ballygarvan were well beaten by Douglas in the 2008 Senior Camogie League Final. Played yesterday at Mahon, Ballygarvan found the handicap of playing minus the injured, Sarah O Donovan, Suzanne Lynch, Mary Ellen O Donovan, and Emer Dillon, who is away, too much to handle. Douglas, who surprisingly won this years championship were much fitter and led at the interval 1-7 to 0-1. At the end it was Douglas 4-12 Ballygarvan 1-1 Scorers: Ballygarvan C Kelly 1-1. Ballygarvan 3-8 St. Finbarrs 5-12 Ballygarvan's Senior A Camogie team fell at the penultimate hurdle of this year's Championship following a defeat by St. Finbarrs in Ballinlough GAA Pitch on Sunday, 21st September 2008.
