Ballygarvan GAA Club would like to invite you all to the launch for our night at the dogs.
Official launch taking place, Wednesday 8th February at 8pm in The Pavilion
If you would like to help in any way, purchasing tickets, sponsoring a race,
advertising in the programme and so forth, please contact any member of the committee.
All monies raised are going directly to help our club and improve the facilities for our players and members.

We will be holding our annual awards night on Saturday 11th February at 7pm in the Cork International Airport hotel. All are welcome. More details to follow shortly.

We will be having a fundraising night on Friday the 16th March 2012 in Curraheen Park Greyhound Statium.
The launch for this night is taking place on Wednesday 8th February at 8pm in The Pavilion. Everybody is welcome to attend. Tickets for the night will be on sale shortly.

Plant an ash wood next Saturday, 14th January at 11am at Ballinressig Nature Farm.

We had an excellent turn out today for our Annual Poc Fada, with 39 teams taking part. The winning teams are as follows:
Fé 12: Aindras Lyons, Shane Kennefick, Niall Lyons
Fé 16: Calum O' Brien, Killian Fitzgerard, Ronan Corkery
Family: Denis, Michaella and Arron Buckley
Senior: Stephen White, Mathew O' Riordan, Suzanne Lynch
In a funny twist of faith, or coincidence with the day that is in it, the senior teams were a draw at 37 shots each, so a 'Poc off'' was needed to seperate them, and Stephen White had the longest shot. Well done to everyone for taking part.
We will be having our annual Poc Fada on St. Stephen's day.
Starting at the Forest Road at 12.00 going to the club house.
Categories are: Under 12's, Under 16's, family and senior. (Teams of 3)
Please note, we would ask an adult to accompany children in the under 12's section.
