"Such a Local Row"

Journeyman Productions, a new Cork-based theatre company, are staging the first professional run of "Such a Local Row" from July 14th - 16th in the Granary Theatre in Cork City. The play is a 'coming of age' story set around the staple of Irish life - the local GAA club. Full of laughs and tears, it promises to be a great night out and every GAA fan will recognise each character as someone they know from their own club.

Written by Jody Quirke, a member of Blarney GAA Club, 'Such A Local Row' won the Best Original Writing Award at this year's Irish Student Drama Festival.

We are hoping that you could feature the information to your respective members and on your respective club websites and help encourage local theatre in Cork, especially a production that every GAA fan can relate to.

Tickets cost €12 or €10 for students/OAP's and can be booked by ringing 021-4904275
