Under 14 Camogie League
Ballygarvan V Enniskeane
Ballygarvan u14 camogie team have gotten their league campaign off to a good start with two wins out of two. The first game saw the girls travel to Enniskeane where they emerged convincing victors on the night. The Ballygarvan side had many young girls playing but they fitted in well and were ably assisted and supported by the older girls.
Ballygarvan V Newcestown
The second game took place last Tuesday in Ballygarvan where the u14s played host to Newcestown. Ballygarvan were first on the score board and initially had to battle hard to get the upperhand on a physically strong Newcestown team. The girls got into their stride however and from the goalkeeper out, they fought well and picked off some fine scores. Newcestown fought back as the second half got underway but Ballygarvan kept the pressure on their opponants and showed great determination until the final whistle was blown.
