GAA 125th. Anniversary - Schools Day
Schools visitation Friday 24th April at 1.00pm - Students Arts and Crafts competition - announcement of winners and presentation of certificates. Arts and Crafts exhibition at the Garden Pavilion May 2009 end.
Friday April 24th is the GAA 125 Schools Day. Ballygargan GAA Club today announced a series of competitions for all classes in the local Ballygarvan National school to celebrate the GAA 125th Anniversary. This event is lead by the clubs Liasion officer to the School Aileen Dunlea and supported by the clubs cultural officer Eddie O Sullivan. A variety of competitions are involved to suit all classes. Colouring, drawing, paintaing, essays writing, history and crafts are all included. Full details are available from each class teacher. This is a chance for schools to participate in a fun day where students will be invited to wear GAA colours and take part in a range of GAA activities.
